OPERATION ZOOMIES

Operation Zoomies: What The Clients See

Agent Mittens has been embedded with a client household for three weeks. Report: the dashboard is winning them over. So is the PupBook.

OK. OK. OK.

You have to see this.

*I have been embedded in a client household for THREE ENTIRE WEEKS* and I need to file this report before I lose my mind about the dashboard.

Field Note

The humans open it. On the phone. In bed. At breakfast. In the car park at the supermarket. I have watched them scroll through it during a film. THE FILM WAS NOT INTERESTING TO THEM. THE DASHBOARD WAS.

Here is what they see, in order of what they open first:

1. The PupBook. Every walk. Every photo. Every update. Timestamped. It is like a diary but the subject cannot read it and does not know it exists, which is — frankly — the most flattering possible arrangement. 2. Their forms. The consent forms. The vaccination uploads. The medical bits. All in one tidy panel where the humans can pretend they always meant to do them on time. 3. The Community. They *found other humans with dogs*. They talk to them. About the dogs. They are, and I mean this with respect, *not okay*. 4. Bookings. Past. Upcoming. Cancelled. In-progress. Every one, sorted, colour-coded, tap-to-open.

> "When the client can see what's happening in the app, the phone calls to the business stop. When the phone calls stop, everyone relaxes. Including — for once — us." > — Agent Mittens, filing at 03:14

🐱 Classified

The humans think the app is for them. It is, of course, primarily for the subjects — who now benefit from a much calmer household, better-organised outings, and considerably less shouting about "where's the vaccination cert." The Agency approves.

Operational note: every time the primary handler forgets something, the app remembers it for them. This is possibly the most cat-adjacent piece of software the Agency has ever endorsed.

*I am going back in.*
