Home Visits Restrictions
What does this policy do?
Pick specific days of the week when you do NOT offer Home Visits. Restricted days are shown as "Closed" on the visits booking calendar and clients cannot request a visit on them. Use this if you only run visits on certain weekdays, or if you keep weekends free for Boarding only. Leave it blank to inherit your shared Boarding restrictions.
How it works
Select restricted weekdays
Tick the days you don't operate visits on — e.g. Sunday only, or Monday to Wednesday.
Calendar display
Restricted days show a "✕ Closed" marker on the visits calendar for both client and admin.
Boarding unaffected
This only closes Home Visits — Boarding, Daycare, and Walking stay bookable on those days.
Existing bookings
Marking a day restricted does not cancel any existing visit already on that date — handle those manually.

Saturday and Sunday show as greyed-out "Closed" cells. The client cannot select them; a tooltip explains visits are unavailable on those days.

Sorry — we don't currently offer Home Visits on Saturdays. Please choose Monday to Friday, or contact us if you need a special arrangement.
Tips
Weekdays-only is a common setup for solo sitters — protects weekends for personal time or boarding stays.
Restricting a day still lets you take a booking manually from the admin side — the restriction is client-facing only.
Combine with Not Available dates for one-off closures on days you normally operate.
Review your restrictions seasonally — you might open weekends in summer.
