Home Visits Not Available Dates
What does this policy do?
Block specific dates when you cannot take any Home Visits — personal holidays, family events, training days, or any one-off closure. Blocked dates are shown as unavailable on the client visits calendar and no new visit can be requested for them. This is separate from your weekly restrictions, and independent of your Boarding blocked dates unless you leave it blank.
How it works
Click dates to block
Toggle individual dates on the calendar — click to block, click again to unblock.
Client visibility
Blocked dates appear greyed out on the visits calendar and cannot be selected.
Existing visits stay
Blocking a date doesn't auto-cancel visits already booked on it — cancel each one manually if you need to.
Independent from Boarding
A date blocked here only closes Home Visits — Boarding drop-offs on the same date remain open.

Tips
Block dates as soon as you know them — clients often plan pet care weeks ahead.
For a full week off, blocking every date is cleaner than restricting weekdays temporarily.
Use the Agreement Sections editor to make clear you may have to block dates at short notice for illness or emergencies.
Different from Restrictions — Not Available blocks a specific date; Restrictions block a weekday recurring.
