Home Visits Agreement Sections

Add visits-specific clauses to the client agreement (optional)

What does this policy do?

Clients booking Home Visits already sign your shared Boarding / Sitter agreement. This editor is optional — it lets you APPEND extra sections specific to visits (key handling, alarm codes, indoor access, emergency vet consent for solo sitter visits). If you leave it blank, no visits-specific clauses are added and the shared agreement covers everything.

How custom visits sections work

Additive only

Sections you add here appear alongside the standard agreement — they never remove the base clauses.

Placement

Choose which base section your custom clause appears after (e.g. after "Emergency Vet Care").

Active/inactive toggle

Deactivate a section without deleting it — useful for seasonal clauses like winter driving conditions.

Signed on first visit booking

The full agreement (base + visits additions) is presented to the client the first time they book a Home Visit.

Client books their first Home Visit

They're shown the full agreement — standard boarding clauses plus your visits additions — and asked to accept it. Their acceptance is recorded and stored on the client record.

Please review your Home Visits agreement

Before we confirm your Home Visit for Milo, please read and accept our client agreement. It includes our standard care terms plus a few extra clauses specific to visits — how we handle keys, alarm codes and emergency contact. Reply or sign in to accept.

Tips

Keep additions short — clients are more likely to actually read three concise clauses than a wall of text.

Common visits clauses: key-safe handling, alarm codes, indoor access boundaries, cash-for-emergency-vet consent.

Review your visits clauses annually — key-storage best practice and data-protection expectations change.

If you don't need any visits-specific clauses, leave this blank — the shared agreement is enough.
