Activity Logs
What are Activity Logs?
Activity Logs provide a complete audit trail of everything that happens in your business — bookings created, clients added, payments received, settings changed, and more. This is essential for accountability, troubleshooting, and DEFRA compliance record-keeping.
How logs work
Logs are automatically recorded whenever an action occurs. They are split into two tabs for easy browsing.
Activity tab
Shows business-level events — bookings, client registrations, pet additions, form submissions, payments, invoices, and onboarding steps.
System tab
Shows system-level events — service changes, policy updates, settings modifications, and platform events.
Category filter
Filter logs by category (e.g., only bookings, only payments) to focus on what matters.
Severity filter
Filter by severity level — info, warning, error, or success — to quickly find issues.
Search
Search across all log messages and details to find specific events.
Clear logs
Remove old logs when no longer needed. You can clear all logs or just a specific category.

Tips
Review logs regularly to spot unusual patterns — multiple failed actions might indicate a problem.
Use the stats cards at the top for a quick health check — they show totals by category and severity.
Logs are grouped by date, making it easy to review what happened on a specific day.
For DEFRA compliance, logs provide evidence of proper business management and record-keeping.
Expand any log entry to see full details including timestamps, user information, and metadata.
Consider exporting or screenshotting important logs before clearing — once cleared, they cannot be recovered.
