Profile Settings
What are Profile Settings?
Profile Settings is your central hub for configuring everything about your business account. It contains seven tabs — Business, Billing, Vet Details, Preferences, Profile, Security, and Sharing — each controlling a different aspect of how your pet care business operates. Getting these right from the start ensures clients see professional, accurate information and your invoicing flows smoothly.
The seven settings tabs explained
Each tab in Settings controls a specific part of your business. The three most important tabs to complete first are Business, Billing, and Vet Details — these directly affect what clients see and how your finances are set up.
Business Tab
Set your business name, address, phone number, email, and upload your logo. This information appears on invoices, booking confirmations, and your client portal — it's your public identity.
Billing Tab
Configure your bank account details, currency, payment terms, and invoice numbering. This feeds directly into your invoicing system so you can get paid correctly and on time.
Vet Details Tab
Add your preferred veterinary practice name, address, phone, and emergency vet number. This is essential for pet safety — any carer at your facility can quickly access vet info in an emergency.
Preferences Tab
Fine-tune system behaviour: default booking durations, notification preferences, calendar display options, and daycare capacity. Adjust these as your business evolves.
Profile Tab
Manage your personal admin profile — display name, avatar, and contact details. This is what staff and clients see when they interact with you in the platform.
Security Tab
Change your password. We recommend a strong, unique password and updating it regularly.
Sharing Tab
Invite other people to access your admin account. Useful for business partners or trusted staff who need full admin access without creating a separate business.

What completing your settings enables
Click each scenario to see the result and email preview
You complete the Business tab with your name, address, and logo
All invoices, booking confirmations, and client-facing pages display your professional branding. Your client portal header shows your logo and business name instead of defaults.
You fill in the Billing tab with bank details and set GBP as currency
Invoices are auto-generated with your bank details at the bottom for easy payment. All prices throughout the system display in £ with correct formatting. Invoice numbers follow your chosen prefix (e.g., INV-0001).
You add vet details with an emergency number
A "Vet Emergency" quick-action button becomes available throughout the app. Any staff member can tap it during an incident to instantly see the vet address and phone number — critical during time-sensitive pet emergencies.
A new staff member or client looks at your business profile
They see a polished, complete business with consistent branding, clear contact details, and professional invoicing — not a half-configured account with missing information.
Tips for setting up your profile
Complete Business, Billing, and Vet Details first — these are the foundation everything else builds on.
Upload a square logo (at least 200×200px) for the best display across invoices, emails, and your portal.
Use your registered business address in the Business tab — it appears on invoices and needs to match your licensing documents.
In Billing, set your invoice prefix to something meaningful like your initials + "INV" (e.g., "TDC-" for Ted's Dog Care).
Add both your regular vet and an emergency/out-of-hours vet number — emergencies don't always happen during office hours.
Review your Preferences tab after your first week of real bookings. You'll have a better feel for ideal capacity and default durations.
Use the Sharing tab carefully — shared users get full admin access. Only share with people you trust completely.
Change your password in the Security tab after initial setup, especially if you used a simple password during registration.
