View selector

The dropdown in the top-right corner lets you switch between different analytics views: Revenue Analysis, Booking Trends, Service Distribution, Booking Status, Client Analytics, and Monthly Comparison. Each view renders a different chart below the summary cards.

Revenue Analysis view

Shows a bar chart of monthly revenue for the current year. Each bar represents one month's total revenue from confirmed bookings. Hover over any bar to see the exact figure. Below the chart, an area chart shows the cumulative revenue trend — useful for spotting whether you are on track for your annual target.

Booking Trends view

Displays a stacked bar chart breaking down each month's bookings by status — Confirmed (green), Pending (amber), and Cancelled (red). This helps you spot patterns like high cancellation months or seasonal demand spikes.

Service Distribution view

A pie chart showing the split between your service types — Boarding, Daycare, Home Boarding, Dog Walking, etc. The percentage breakdown reveals which services generate the most bookings, helping you decide where to invest or promote.

Booking Status view

Another pie chart showing the overall split of booking statuses across all time — Confirmed, Pending, Cancelled, Completed. A healthy business typically shows 70%+ in Confirmed/Completed with low cancellation rates.

Client Analytics view

Shows your top clients by number of bookings and revenue contributed. A horizontal bar chart ranks clients by booking count, and a companion table shows each client's total spend. This is invaluable for identifying VIP clients who deserve loyalty rewards or priority booking access.

Monthly Comparison view

A line chart overlaying the current year's monthly revenue against the previous year (if data exists). This year-on-year comparison instantly shows whether your business is growing, plateauing, or declining — and in which months.
